I am über happy right now because I’ve been baking pie all afternoon. Now, I like baking pie for two reasons:
- Yum
- Baking is a mellowing activity I love but in which I infrequently get to indulge
- I am good at it
Oops, that was three. Oh well.
Anyway, the pies themselves look and smell delicious, like what I imagine heaven’s living room smells like.

The apples in the background are the garnish for the Apple Cider Cream Pie. Don’t you wish you were coming to my house for Thanksgiving?

The little one I threw together when I had extra filling. Yes, I can throw together a pie. Everybody has to be good at something.
However scrumptious these pies look, now I have to go make another, and then clean up this:
So happy Thanksgiving, readers. I hope your holiday is filled with only the most mouth-watering turkey and the butteriest mashed potatoes and the most perfect pies (plural), because what I am most thankful for this year is you.
And pie.

Your maths is wonky, but your pie is perfect!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I don’t believe in math.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
oops…Dom…IndieDom…not IndieDo….drank too much. Yesterday.
Oh, Heavens to Mergitroid…where’d my first post go? I suck at this…I truly do. Now that one won’t make sense. And if this one replaces that one then this one won’t make sense and where will it all end?
Anyway…I was saying that your pie crusts are perfect and mine are always train wrecks. Also, the apple cider cream pie sounds sinfully delicious and that I love the line about “Heaven’s Living Room”. I imagine they have the best magazine subscriptions on the coffee table.
I love this train of thought more than anything…;)
And the apple cider cream pie was delicious.
