Tired. Here, Look – Wedding Pictures!

Ah, Thanksgiving. Does anyone else get so tired after having people over and then cooking an elaborate meal for said people? Then the next day systematically eating all of the remaining pie and sweet potatoes?

After hosting my first major holiday, I decided to take Friday off. I sat in my pajamas all day, read my Storm of Swords and watched TV with Mike. We never just take days off like that, and I reveled in the glory of having no responsibilities and time to do whatever I felt like. Which was nothing.

Friday turned into Saturday.

Saturday turned into Sunday.

Sunday I finally got back (halfway, at least) into a semblance of a routine, including, *gasp,* a workout. But in reality, the only things I managed to accomplish on this holiday weekend was moving the furniture back into place after dismantling the temporary tables, single-handedly finishing off the last of the pumpkin pie, and finally, FINALLY sorting through my wedding photos.

Going through wedding pictures sounds like no big deal, right? Just shuffle through them and pick the ones where you don’t look like you’re sniffing glue and you’re golden.

Or so I thought.

I was married on September 10, 2011. In other words, it has taken me over a YEAR to go through these. This is partly due to my procrastinating techniques, which I have honed and mastered over the years.

It’s also because there are over 800 of these bad boys. It’s intimidating, to say the least.

So because I’m still so very, very tired and I worked incredibly hard to overcome the natural urge to procrastinate further, here are some of the photos for your viewing pleasure.

Please don’t make me do anything else today.

I wish I could still zip this up. I’d totally just hang out in it after work.
Cinderella slippers, except way more comfy.

I was like a peacock with a train of beautiful feathers behind me. What woman doesn’t want to be a brightly plumed giant male bird?
The best walk ever.
The best view ever.
You can’t even tell it rained that morning and then a volcano erupted down the street? Just seeing if you’re paying attention.
I look harmless here, don’t I? Or is the crazy noticeable?
In my clutches at last! Muhaha!
Can you see why I can’t stop thinking about cupcakes?
At last! We can eat them!
Hand lettering: the neurotic bride’s way of making her life a living hell.
I was crying at this point. I cry a lot, though.
Happily ever after. This is what we look like all the time, just so you know.

Side note: at first half of these pictures were of the cupcakes, but I pruned them back because even thought it was a little excessive.
